Wells Plastics is awarded an EcoVadis Gold Medal

Wells Plastics is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, following significant interdepartmental work to focus and improve on the previous Silver Medal rating.

EcoVadis is the leading global sustainability ratings provider and looks in depth at the environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) of companies, and is recognised as a strategic partner for those companies where sustainability is a critical aspect for their brand and business.

Businesses of all sizes around the world rely on EcoVadis’ expert intelligence and evidence-based ratings to monitor and improve the sustainability performance of their business and supply chain.

Currently there are over 100,000 companies across 175 countries and in 200 industries who have worked with EcoVadis. This achievement sees Wells Plastics now in the top 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) systems, polices and work on sustainability.

With company efforts spearheaded by Supply Chain Manager, Michael Spight and Regulatory Specialist, Julie Simmons, Wells Plastics will continue to work hard and build on its success in the areas of sustainability and environmental, social and corporate governance, developing new policies and measures for continuous improvement.
