Wells supports Polymer Group Students

Wells Plastics supports Manchester Polymer Group’s Students and Early Careers networking event.

Wells Plastics exhibited at The Manchester Polymer Group Student and Early Careers Poster Showcase held at The University of Manchester, Royce Innovation Hub on 21^st February 2024.

The day provided an opportunity for Post-graduate students and early career industrialists to present their work, illustrating the current exciting research in a range of polymer science applications., ranging from novel biopolymers, fully circular FRP, recycling of polyolefins to high-end electrical properties.

Posters were supplied by students from The University of Salford, The Manchester Metropolitan University and The University of Manchester, who had the opportunity to network with a wide range of industrial experts throughout the afternoon.

Wells Plastics’ Technical Manager, Dr Gary Ogden, who is also Chair of the Manchester Polymer Group, provided expert review and judging of the high quality of the posters on display. Standards were extremely high, and we congratulate Eloise Billington, UoM, who won first prize and runners up Apran Patel, UoM, 2^nd place with 3^rd place going to Danny Guana, UoM.
